What's your opinion of a Volkswagen Jetta ???

Volkswagons are notorious for having check engine lights come on. Not a cheap car to fix either. They're cute little cars but I don't think I'd buy one

I had a VW for a few years. Granted it was a 99, but it was more expensive to fix those years than to buy. A friend of mine was a VW mechanic and cautioned me and my family against the cars. His recommendation is Honda and Subaru.

It's a tight car to have sex in but it can work lol. My dude drives one. It's cute. Diesel. It is pretty loud when it's idle though.

I just think they are ugly and unnecessarily expensive to maintain if I'm going to be spending that much on maintenance I would prefer a luxury vehicle.

My husband bought one 2 years ago. He loves his car great on gas no mechanical problems at all.  however we are now expecting our 3rd child and have two older daughters 9&6. He feels he is growing out of it and so are the kids. However it's paid off and we really don't want another car note! I have an SUV with 3rd row so we are ok right now. But like a previous poster said it is small for a growing family.

I have one. While reliable... they are EXPENSIVE to fix due to being foreign. No one really wants to touch my car outside of a mechanic... and mechanics audibly groan when I bring it in for repairs. They're a pain! And forget $40 oil changes. They take full synthetic which is no less than $80 for a simple oil change. 
Nothing about my car is easy. But I truly do love it!
