Fun toddler activities?

Hey guys! I'm a big Pinterest gal, of course. However the toddler activities I seem to try with my 15 month old always seem to go wrong (sometimes pretty badly wrong haha!). Any personal favorites that you guys have tried and loved? My son is bored being inside this winter and has no interest in his toys. We also don't really have a ton of cash to go out and buy arts and crafts at the moment. Thanks for the advice!

I work at kinder care and I'm also going to school to be a teacher and I love Pinterest as well something I like to do is use painters tape on the back of a paper plate and place it on there to create a shape we have been doing snow flakes for the winter and then give your child a paintbrush that is age and developmentally appropriate (meaning your child is 15 months they will not be able to use a small paint brush) what we did was cut up sponges and clip them to clothes pins and give your children some paint and let them pain all over the plate and once the paint dries peel the tape off and you will see a snow flake

My 18 month has always been fascinated with milk jugs so i found one easy activity where you get clothes pins and a milk jug and let them put them in and dump them out over and over again:) I would count everytime he would drop one in. It kept him occupied so i could cook dinner.
