What should I do?.
I agreed to watch these two little girls because the parents had no babysitter and they didn't know what to do And the mom was going to have to quit her job which they couldn't afford. I told them that I had two cats and they knew one their daughters was scared of DOGS she said she was perfect with cats. Anyways I started babysitting I made sure I slowly introduced the girls to the cats so they wouldn't be terrified but every time the cat walks not even 20 feet from the girl she full out screams and throws tantrums I ask her to stop but she continues to do it I've told the mom and she blows it off and asks me not to get mad and I'm not the kind to get mad or irritated, (note she's asked me to get rid of my cats that I've had way before I met them) so I just try to ignore it and chase the cats off.
I've continuously showed the girl that the cats are sweet as possible and she still flips out. A little bit ago she was eating cereal all was well, and the cat comes in to eat her food and she stands in the chair and just screams non stop I tried to calm her down and my other cat came in and it was even worse I didn't know what I do, I got furious and started shaking, I've been watching them for barley a week and it's out of control. My husband works with their step dad he asks if he should tell him and see if it can be sorted out or if they need to find a new sitter. I locked my cats up for now but I can't keep them locked up all day until the parents get home that's not how I'll let them live.
