If you've had your membrane swept
Did it work? How long did it take to kick start and how many cm where you diolated ?  🙃 how far alongwhere you? Thank you any information helps ☺

It increases risk of infection just like cervical exams do and it only works 12.5% of the time...not worth it

I had a sweep I. The evening, contractions started next morning, had my baby in my arms within 24h. Good luck!

My mom said she had hers done and she had me the next day & with my first I had it done and had him 2 days later. Plan on getting it done Thursday with this baby & hopefully have him 2 days later or sooner! 🤗 Everybody I've ever met/known said it worked for them too either the same day, the next day or 2 days later!

Swept in the afternoon at 36 weeks. Baby was in position, but I was only 1.5 cm dilated. I was having prodromal labor for 2 weeks prior and I think they were sick of sending me to labor and delivery. My water broke the next day! I'd had steroid shots so she was perfectly healthy.

I had a successful membrane sweep done at 37 weeks. I was already 1 1/2 cm dilated. Within a few hours I started loosing my mucus plug, the next morning I had my bloody show and then that evening my water broke.
