Infant sleeping in bassinet

Does anyone have tips for helping your infant sleep better in the bassinet? My baby is 1 week old and she hates her bassinet (as I expected), she just doesn't sleep well in it, she loves being close to me when she sleeps. I know this is common and that she just needs to adjust to it and get on a normal sleep schedule but wondering if anyone has any little tricks or something they've discovered has helped their baby adjust to a bassinet?
