Unsure bleeding should i be worried?

I have been trying to conceive my fiance and I I've been trying and recently this month around the 9th we perform intercourse. But yesterday I had some kind of dark bleeding in following up today it has become brighter shade red. I am not a hundred percent sure if this is something to worry about or if it's just a regular period? My periods are never the exact day either later or day earlier.
