how many weeks till I have to sleep a certain way?

I am already 6 weeks and 3 days. I am wondering when I cannot sleep on my stomach or side. I am unable to sleep on my stomach because it feels weird now. Many people say don't sleep on your side but that's how I sleep every night. When should I stop? And when should I get a pregnant pillow?

You can always sleep on your side, left side is recommended. It's safe to sleep on your stomach until it starts to grow. And it's safe to sleep on your back until about 12 weeks!

At the point you are now, you can sleep however. My doctor says to move to your side at 20 weeks but with my last one, I would wake up on my back at times. I'd just change back to my side and go back to sleep. You don't have to worry about sleep position this early. And I've never heard to not sleep on your side?! That's what you're supposed to do. When you get to a certain point, sleeping on your back puts too much pressure on your nerves and can cause problems.
