So what do yoy all think about Sessions desire to bring back the war on drugs? Sessions wants judges to order the most extreme punishment possible for drug offenders, whether it's a violators first arrest or not.

I understand Sessions point of view; drugs are obviously an issue in our society. The opiate epidemic is catastrophic when you think of how many lives can be affected by one drug user. But, on the flip side, Sessions' war will increase the prison population again, when prisons are already underfunded as it is.

I just cant decide if bringing back Reagan's war on drugs is a good thing or not. It may alleviate one problem, but I worry it will aggravate other problems.
