Patience with Toddlers

Samantha
I read this awesome article on Facebook where a mom found herself losing her patience and being mean to her toddler. She was always "that angry mom". She would put 5 hair ties on her right wrist. Everytime she did or said something mean or out of line to her toddler she would move one hair tie to the left wrist. To get it back on the right wrist, she would have to do 5 fun/nice things with her toddler such as reading a book, coloring, playing with toys with him, etc. On average it takes 5 nice things to make up for 1 mean thing that you do to build a relationship back up. Eventually having patience, doing nice things, and taking more time for her toddler in this busy world became more of a habit for her bc of practicing it.
For any mommas that lose their patience with their toddler, we're all guilty! I'm gonna try this and I hope other mommas do too!
