When does baby talking count?

My daughter will be 6 months in like 9 days. We're were laying in bed and she turned to my husband and said "dada" she's said Daddy before starting about 2 weeks ago but we weren't sure if I counted since she wasn't even looking at him but has done it multiple times since. Her and her twin also says "Mum" but only when they cry so I just think it's accidental.
