My daughter is 11 weeks today and still hates tummy time. My husband and I will lay her on a blanket on the floor starting on her back. We'll play music or shake a rattle and talk to her and she's fine. Then as soon as we gently roll her to her tummy she lost her head, moves it to one side of the other, and has a meltdown and tries rolling back onto her back. We could still be playing music (which she loves) or shaking the rattle or even playing with a mirror and she will completely ignore any of it. We eventually give in and roll her back over. But I want her to realize tummy time isn't bad. We do it frequently, multiple times a day. I think she has gone 2 minutes on her tummy before freaking out. Any suggestions on how to make it a better experience????
