stay at home moms?

Question

Is anybody here a stay at home mom? And do you enjoy it and do people judge you for being one? I've been staying at home for a couple of months now with my 4 yr old since my hubby opened his own businesss and I love it but sometimes people look down at you and it does get to me, if I'm not able to conceive this year I'll probably get a job since my little one probably going to start prek this year but if I do get pregnant I'm staying home.anyways my father in law has said some comments to me too since I don't work how do you deal with it?

I'm a stay at home mom with my 8 month old while my husband works and I love it! I couldn't imagine being at work and missing all the milestones he has. And for people judging, who cares? It's not their life. They don't pay your bills. Do you girl!

I quit my job right before we moved into our house and became a stay at home mom. I love, it's all I've ever wanted to do with my life. Have kids and be the homemaker. As long as you can afford, who cares what anyone else has to say. It's your family, your life. You do what works with you. And I'd tell the uncle if he doesn't have anything but negative things to say then he can keep his mouth shut or we wont be around him any longer...but that's just me. I'm very blunt and don't take peoples crap

I'm a stay at home mom with my 7 month old and have definitely been judged. I personally loved my job and could've made a career out of it. But unless I had to work, I wouldn't trade being a stay at home mom for anything. I have been there for all of my sons firsts and it would've killed me to miss them. I've definitely wanted to go back to work. You want to make your own money, and feel accomplished. Sometimes even just feel like an adult! But being a sahm is the most rewarding thing! Try to ignore the judgement! It's so not freaking easy. I hope you get a bfp soon!

I'm a stay at home step mom.... take care full time of my 11y old stepdaughter and half time of my 8y old stepdaughter. It's exhausting and very difficult because you don't get as much hugs, kisses and love a biological mom gets. I do enjoy not having to work, but not having any way of socializing during the day like you would do at a job is also mentally very hard.

I'm a stay at home mother .  It's very strange that people judge s.a.h.m. now .  It used to be the norm. O always get how could I possibly rely on a man financially ... to me isn't that part of marriage? If you don't trust your spouse then really you shouldn't be with them ... people also assume that we have zero skills , zero way to make money , zero education.  Most of the times this isn't true.  I am proud to take care of my children and family full time right now.  I've done it both ways and honestly we are happier as a whole with me staying home .  Our stress has decreased ten fold.

I'm a stay at home mom and I love it. The only thing I hate is that my in laws seem to think I just sit around all day or something and they always ask me to do ridiculous things. But I take care of our house, and take care of our daughter and I'm pregnant, I'm actually quite busy. My mother in law worked the whole time my husband was growing up, so I think she thinks stay at home moms don't do anything. And I feel like she judges me a little bit.

I ignore people's judgements. I'm home to take care of my kids because I'm the best one for the job. I don't trust daycares and working full time, not having a lot of family time only to use most of my paycheck for a stranger to watch my kid isn't worth it. After my kids go to school full time, I will most likely look for part time work but my family is more important that a job.
