100mg Clomid

So I'm about to take 100mg of clomid. Last month I was on 50 but didn't ovulate. I was given norethisterone and haven't had a period after it. After a number of pregnancy tests I've now been advised by a new doctor to take the tablet now and assume today is CD2 despite no period. I understand there is no issue taking it without a period but I'm so worried about the side effects of the higher dose! Any advice more than welcome!!! Baby dust to All!
