the struggle with ttc

Us ladies who have been ttc for years or even months know how difficult it is to stay positive and optimistic. I've been ttc for almost 3 years now. I do have children ages 9&8 with my first partner and I became pregnant quite quickly. Now I'm engaged with a wonderful man and have been ttc for the longest, I have endometriosis stage 2 which I believe it developed after having my two kids. Now I'm in fear that I will never conceive again. I did have surgery for my endo I'm currently 5 months post op and still nothing. Any of you ladies have positive successful stories when ttc ? I just want to hear that it can happen. Any of you ladies became pregnant when you just simply stopped trying ? What was your ttc story ?
