will it ever work?

Can a relationship work with no trust? Like is it possible to ever get it back? It has been over 2 years since he cheated and I still question his every move... am paranoid constantly, checking his phone, he was out at the weekend and I just can't stop thinking he cheated.. he probably didn't but it's just the lack of trust.. it's been over 2 years and I'm still stuck in the same place.. will it ever change? And before people jump in with "you chose to forgive him" he threatened that if I didn't take him back he will end his life.. he does this every time I try to leave so I feel trapped and that there is no way out.. I don't know what to do anymore, I'm sacrificing my life to keep him alive for our daughter.. I couldn't stand the thought of explaining to her why her dad isn't here knowing it would be my fault, any advice would be greatly appreciated
