Question

I am a first time mom due in 15 weeks! 💙 and the only thing I am worried about is if I will know that I am in labor. What does it feel like ? I have a very high pain tolerance and am worried I will just think it's a cramp or something I am a high risk pregnancy so the closest hospital that will take me is a hour away   Just trying to figure out if I will know when I am in labor?

Trust me, labor contractions are nothing like a Braxton hicks or period pain cramp. You will know the difference especially if they don't go away with change in position

I have very high pain tolerance as well & I was worried I wouldn't know either. Everyone kept telling me I will definitely know but honestly for me the contractions weren't even bad & I just assumed they were Braxton hicks. I only went in because they were 3 mins apart. I was still laughing and talking to my husband even when I was pushing. Just time then when you think it's the real deal

I too have a very high tolerance. My husband was certain I wouldn't know so any time I felt anything he wanted me to go in. I definitely knew when it was time though. Contractions aren't like anything else you've felt before.

With my 1st I woke up at 4 am because my water broke, so obviously I knew! Lol with my 2nd I had bloody show and very regular contractions, so I went to hospital to be checked and sure enough was in labor. With my 3rd I was induced. If you have contractions just time them, how often they come and how long they last. Just pay attention to your body, you'll know!
