Age is a number that is a public announcement of how much life experience you have and typically, how mature you are. That's the problem with really young children dating older people. It's not the age difference, it's everything that accompanies that. Different expectations, different maturity levels, it's harder for someone younger to stand up to someone older because they assume they know better. It sets things up for a dysfunctional relationship. That's why it's not as big a deal when you get older because eventually, like in your 30s, you realize this and it makes relationships more level.

If you are both over 18 that's the only age people have an issue is with when a minor is involved or he's 90 and looking to collect life insurance etc or a guy in his 40-50s with a 20 year old everyone knows that his side chick in his unhappy marriage or mid life crisis or she's a gold digger etc. I'm 38 my guy is 28 been together 4.5 years. He looks older than me. Since I look so young it's awkward guy's my own age or older. I look like their daughter. Or they come with so much baggage both emotional or family and kids and ex wives etc Always just been easier with a younger guy. Less baggage in every way. No kids or baby mama or ex wife. He's not so set in his ways and he practically worships the ground I walk on. It works. We never fight. We are best friends

No. There are laws in place regarding sexual activity/dating for a reason. There is no valid reason that a 15 year old should be dating a 18 year old or a 16 year old should be dating a 20 year old.
