How did your parents find out you were sexually active?

Do you think your parents have the instinct that you're sexually active? lol I feel like mother's know without you even telling them lol mom's will be like 'I've seen it in your walk' 😂 while dads are sometimes clueless to it. Willing to share any stories? ☺️ it was a topic on Facebook.

The hospital called my parents, insurance, asking if I was able to pay my copay on my last doctor's appointment. I was 19 by the way. My mom didn't know I went in she asked what it was for and the pharmacist told her for birth control. It's illegal in my state for doctor's and other medical personnel to give out that info if you are over 17. I should have sued. It tore my family apart. My mom called me a whore and stopped talking to me. This is exactly why there is this law.

My parents have known for a while. I think they think I've been having sex for a lot longer than I have, actually. They would let me hang out with boys alone in our basement (it's finished) since I was like 15 😅

Well my mom found out when she caught a boy in my closet...then my dad when I got pregnant...sometimes condoms don't always do the job. 😂 So birth control on top of that as well. My mom makes me take it ( I know illegal) because she doesn't trust me if I don't take it I'm pretty much watched like a hawk already can't go out much because I never have anyone to watch the baby for more then 2 hours so I don't see how'd I'd do anything unless I took a walk with the baby threw the car seat and strollier in some guys car and did it in broad daylight with my neighbors watching... 😂

I straight-up told my mom - she and I have always been close, not to mention she had given me a lift for me to purchase condoms the week before. (She fucking GRILLED me in the condom aisle. 😂 "Why are you getting that brand? Is that the right size? Why are you getting lube? ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE READY??")

My dad found out when I was 21 and had to get my IUD removed and was having health complications due to birth control that I had been trying to hide. Well, he didn't only find out that I was sexually active - he found out that I was bisexual and polyamorous too, so that was a fun conversation.

No my mom never thought about it in my last relationship until one day he came to my house w/o her permission so she asked me what he was doing here with me, she probably knew but never told her is not her problem anyway if I fuck with somebody or not, that's personal!! But I'm not fucking in this house again is kind or disrespectful to her and I don't want to lose her trust with my current boyfriend

Uhm well the first time I *tried* to have sex was with a guy I shouldn't have and my parents didn't want me with him, so the guilt are me up because I knew they were right and it was wrong so I told them and they were mad, restricted me the way I expected them to, and after about 6 month of them being on edge they just let it go entirely and we haven't mentioned it since. Fast forward almost 3 years, my first official boyfriend who I am currently sexually active with, and after my parents met him my mom came into my room to tell me she wouldn't ask and didn't want to know, but to have him get tested if he wasn't a virgin and to get on birth control. Lol she asked once if I was pregnant when I was having spotting mid cycle (a polyp in my uterus) and if I was on BC, but she didn't want any details or anything, and my dad just pretends nothing is happening lol.

They found out pretty recently im in my first relationship and I'm sure they just knew a few months in that it had either happened already or would happen soon because they're pretty understanding but a couple of weeks ago I told my mom I wanted birth control and she talked to my dad about the insurance so they both know for sure now I talked about it a little bit with my mom and my dad just pretends he doesn't know
