I was recently diagnosed with herpes by my OBGYN... I recently got into a new relationship before I found out. My results came back positive two weeks ago, I told my new partner right away. Today he had an appointment with his Doctor who said he hadn't contracted it. My dad suggested I go get a second doctors opinion. Could my ob have been wrong? Is it possible that this really isn't happening to me and I could really be clean? I'm not sure what I should do, I don't want to have to bear the pain of being told all over again.
