what is the best pacifier for my breast fed 4 week old?

My baby wants to use my boob as a pacifier. He cries when I take him off the boob when he's not eating and spits out the pacifier. I'm currently using the Avent soothie for a new born. 
What is the best paci for a new born? Advice please!

Your baby cannot use your boob as a pacifier as they were created much longer after breastfeeding was. A pacifier is meant to replace you. It's normal and beneficial for your baby to want you.

At 4 weeks hes probably cluster feeding. Any drop of nutrition is great for him. It also stimulates your breasts to make more milk.

Your boob is the best pacifier for him right now lol. Some babies just never take to pacifiers.
Some other brands to try would be The first years gumdrop newborn pacifier, Wubanub and MAM.

My daughter also used, but spit out the soothie pacifier.

She also used to feed for like 3 sucks pass out wake up and repeat.  I know all my little lady knows, or knew, was me and I brought her comfort.  (obviously still do, although now, at 5 weeks she can also find comfort in other ways) but we now use the nuk and mam and she loves them and can actually keep them in her mouth...but also has learned to grab and throw them to the floor lol.
