Newest Frustration, my birthday (Rant)

My birthday is coming up in a few days and all I want is a new video game to keep me company while little bean is cooking and making me sick. It's seriously all I want, I'm good other than that. What does my grandmother tell my Uncle I want for my birthday? Baby clothes.

I almost had a meltdown. For one, I didn't intend to buy baby clothes until later on (they take up room and I want to have furniture first. For two, I want them tasteful and gender neutral and I wanted to pick them out. For three, it's my fucking birthday. Who the fuck wants things that they don't even need yet meant for someone else?! That's what a baby shower is for!

For all I know, they'll get a crap ton of newborn clothes that baby wont even use for long before they grow out of them and then I'll be figuring out what to do with the extras!

I just needed to rant about this. If someone explicitly states that they want baby clothes for their little one on their birthday, go for it. Other than that, just fucking don't. It's rude and upsetting to a hormonal lady with severe morning sickness. I just wanted a distraction from the constant nausea and vomiting that I experience. (8 weeks 5 days and hormonal af)

Also, I will delete anyone's comment that says, "Well you better get used to baby being first etc etc." No shit. I'm fully aware. But I can at least get one thing for me for my birthday.
