Parenting Styles

I'm VERY curious on others opinions about this.

This is on a post where a mother of a very young child had posted asking how to stop a child from biting. This was one responds, my responds is under hers.

I was beyond shocked at the way she said she "broke" her child from biting.

Since theres several moms on here, is this acceptable behavior?

I don't have children yet, but if I was with a mom who hit their kid so hard as she is describing I wouldn't have any issue telling her my opinion on the matter.
