How much do prenatel visits and checkups usually cost? I have blue cross blue shield insurance and trying to see how expensive it's gonna be

Most insurances have a one time larger copay at the beginning of pregnancy. And then just standard billing by your provider. Your portion will depend on your max out of pocket and deductibles.

Mine are considered preventive so they are FREE! I have a high deductible plan and was fully budgeting to spend the full $4000 deductible this year, and to my surprise there have been NO charges!

I have $10 copays at my prenatal visits. But the big costs to worry about come later on, especially delivery. My first pregnancy I only had a $80 copay for my epidural though. However, since I had a csection the rest of my bill was OUTRAGEOUS. We went to hospital billing though and worked it out and had to barely pay anything.

ALWAYS talking to billing offices if you can immediately pay or it's too much. They can set up plans for you to lighten the load.
