Is this normal?!

Hey guys!
Will call my nurse tomorrow but just wanted to see if any of you ladies were having/had this problem. Occasionally I'll have this sharp 1-2 second sharp pain right above my va-jay-jay. It comes and goes but HURTS but the worst is this pain in my hips and butt. It's not back pain, it literally feels like the pain in right where my crack starts, sometimes I can barely walk. I'm only 31 weeks! What can I do? Or has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like SPD which is your body producing relaxin and your pelvis separating to prepare for birth ive had it since about 28-29 weeks ill be 37 on friday id look it up and let your dr know at your next appointment although there is not much you can do for relief and the pains do get worse for some women

Thank you guys so much! I'll definitely look up the SPD and speak to my doctor about the pain. I absolutely want to try that birthing ball 👌🏾 definitely gonna take a soothing bath tonight

The front of my pelvis actually pops and can feel it shifting! Totally creepy. I still get a lot of round ligament pain that is very sharp and short lasting.

Sounds like your joints and ligaments. Your pelvis starts separating into 3 pieces to widen for the birth of your baby, often resulting in pain where the hips meet the tailbone and pubic bones.
  
As your baby gets bigger, it will press down on these joints and bones, making it even more uncomfortable. 
  
You're describing exactly what I told my OB when she told me this. It only gets more frequent and intense, ice and rest are your best friends. Also get a birthing ball! I was able to stretch my hips and pelvis out gently sitting on the ball and it relieved a lot of my pain.
