Amazon to provide discount for those on assistance

Amazon announced they will provide a 45% discount to food stamp recipients. What are your thoughts? While views are that they can get household goods for less, others are saying that why would someone need most of the items on Amazon when they are having trouble paying for food as it is? Also, Prime comes with video streaming and music as well, which is included in the fee. Thoughts??
