Bellybutton infection. /wromg group sorry dont attack me

So for about 4 years I've gotten really bad bellybutton infections. Its so nasty, it smells bad and I'll have crusty stuff inside/around it. I shower daily and make sure to clean it and dry it but it still happens. I have no piercing or ever had one. It hurts when I bend over or touch it. I've been embarrassed to go to the Dr. But I'm a little concerned now cuz it will happen at least 5 days a month or more for the past 4years. Any advice?
