Bellybutton Piercing?

I've always wanted one. I'm not comfortable with my body. Even though some people compliment my body I'm not personally satisfied with it. I feel like getting a belly button ring with boost my self confidence. Is it stupid for me to get one even if I'll never let anyone else besides my boyfriend see it? Like it will be just to make me feel better about myself?

I got mine done at 19 ( over 10 years ago). Purely because I hated the way my belly button looked. I'm 30 now, and still love it.

If you want it get it! It's all about what you want when it comes to that stuff I've had mine for about 4 or 5 years and I still love it and honestly I'm not really comfortable with my body and the way my stomach looks but I still love my belly button ring I can't have it out or it looks naked lol, I think you should go for it though if it's something you want!

I love mine. I had mine in the whole time while prego too. You get a long pipe that will fit. I had a baby that was 6lb8oz with it in and a baby 4lb 12oz and still love it. Feel naked without. Just a sting and will bleed a lil afterward but beside that. It's great.

Just remember if you ever want to get preggers it's going to stretch- that's what I'm dealing with now, and I may have chosen not too!

I got mine done when I was 17 and I loved it until it rejected. It was several months down the line and I did a good job cleaning it - it just happens sometimes, and I have a terrible scar to prove it. It's made me very self-conscious about wearing bikinis during the summer. If you want one then you should go for it; just realize that there is a bit of a risk going along with it.

If getting one will boost your confidence I say got for it! I got one and my husband is pretty much the only one that sees it lol. And you can get themed ones too, to match your bathing suit
