Miscarriage

Krissy • Mommy of 2 beautiful girls and 2 babies in heaven ❤️
Hello everyone. I recently had a miscarriage at 10 weeks (baby was measuring at 9 weeks). We were told we were having a miscarriage at our 10 week appointment which was the end of April and after being taken to the ER and losing a lot of blood I passed "the pregnancy" completely on May 3rd.
I had bleeding on about a week ago which I assumed would be my cycle but it was not regular for me, and bleeding was off and on. I decided to take a pregnancy test just too see if it would show anything. I got a faint positive, so I immediately contacted my doctor to be seen. Could I possibly be pregnant again? I naturally was going crazy waiting for my appointment day to come. I explained to her what was going on and she did a Urine test and pelvic exam. She determines that what I experienced was not my period but another miscarriage.
She said that it was very early into my pregnancy and referred to it as a "chemical pregnancy" and that I should wait at least one regular cycle to try to conceive again. I have read that there is no medical reason to wait as long as you feel emotionally ready to try but the fact that I've now had 2 miscarriages in a row is making me think otherwise.
I was just wondering if anyone else out there has had a similar experience and what their outcome was.
Thanks to anyone that took the time to read this!
