Okay, so I've always been, so you could say, sexually charged. I'm 14 almost 15. My boyfriend just turned 16. I think I'm ready to have sex with him. But idk?? I feel like I'm way too young, and people will judge me if they found out I lost my virginity at such a young age. But I'm ready, and so is he, and we have protection and everything. But I'm scared of what people will think. Any advice? I'm just really nervous and scared

Hunny even if you think you're ready, if you're asking, you're not. Think of this. Is this the man you want be with for the rest of your life? Is this man willing to be with you for the rest of his? If you do get pregnant even with protection, would you be able to care for the child. How would you tell your parents if you did get pregnant? There are lots of questions that you need to ask yourself other than just if you're "ready"? You will thank yourself later if you wait.

I lost my virginity at 15 and I have no regrets. Some people think virginity is a big deal and some don't. I think the bigger issue is that you care entirely too much about what other people will think of you. If you do decide to have sex you don't have to tell anyone afterwards anyways. Be smart about the situation and use protection and if you feel uncomfortable at any given point then stop. To be honest my first time lasted less than a minute before I told him to stop. I understand some religions and morals tell people not to have sex before marriage but this is your life not theirs. I personally think that the concept of virginity is bullshit and girls get a much harder time than guys do about it. I'm not saying have sex but instead listen to your heart and make safe decisions in the act if you decide to do it. I don't know how your relationship with your mom or dad is but my mom told me to tell her when I had sex so she could put me on birth control. She was not juding in any way which is how all parents should be. She made sure I was being safe and I cannot thank her enough for it. Communication is a big deal with your bf as well make sure you understand each other's boundaries. I'm 17 now and I have had sex with three different guys. Everyone is different and if someone is juding you screw them because you are worth far more than your sexual encounters.
