Baby shower with 2nd child?

What is your opinion on having a baby shower for your second baby? My first will be 6 when my second is born and I am unsure whether or not it is appropriate to have another baby shower. What do you ladies think?

Usually you only do a second baby shower if your having another gender. But if you think people will come , go for it! At least for diapers!!

People do it all the time now. I would say you're fine, especially because they're so far apart. I had a friend who had a "sprinkle" and her kids were like 10 months apart or some nonsense.
