Too difficult course load?

I'm transferring to one of the largest Universities in the US in the fall and my GPA essentially "resets". I've been getting a 4.0 the last few semesters but I did have a 2.5 GPA semester a year ago which really is haunting me. I'm grateful that my GPA is restarting so I want to ensure a 4.0 in the fall. Do you think taking 9 credits: (Physics 3, Differential Equations and Logic and Proof in Math) would be pushing it?

I'm so nervous 😩 What would you all do?

Im not in that field, Im in med school - I have 40 hours a week worth of classes, and more 20 hours of individual study in order to perform well. Im doing fine! Its totally possible

My boyfriend is a second year chemical engeneering student and he is taking Calculus III, organic chemistry lab, bioengeneering, Law, Physics II, scientific initiation, and already studying for next semester grades (Physics III) and his grades are Sky high. You can do it!

Well, were I attend to the normal credits per trimester are 42, if you are an excellence student they allow you to submit up to 60 creds/hour. Most courses are 9 creds each, labs being 3 creds. Once I went on to enrolling in 9 courses some being mechanical statistics, complex calculus, logic design, momentum transfer, vector analysis, EM theory, and some labs. Even then I was sleeping and having a life XD So chill, you can do it.

You need 12 to considered full time and to receive financial aid if you need it. I used to take 18 credits and did just fine. 9 is nothing.

Also, in case you do have fininacial aid, I would highly recommend having 15 credits. In case you want to drop anything along the way, you'll still have enough credits to be full time, if not, then you'll be completing your major a lot faster.

9 units is nothing. Most people take 12-16 12 being fulltime & still work & stuff outside of school
