Small amount of protein in urine

Hi, I'm 25. I went to the urgent care due to vaginal itchiness and irritation. I tested negative for BV and a yeast infection but my iron test came back and showed a UTI and the doctor said the urine test strip showed a little bit of protein in my urine. He said he's not worried and not to freak out , it could be just the machine or something. . but he wants me to get another urine test done in a week after I finish my course of treatment for my UTI.
