Spotting or period

So I was taking the pill for 2 weeks I stopped because it was making me sick I started Mt period may 31st and I had a light period for 5 days. Last night I started bleeding again. Very light light pink, I didnt think much of it out in a tampon overnight woke up to a (light) tampon with spots of brown blood all over it, (no pink or red) same thing this morning. I should not have My period for another 9-10 days what could this be?
