Teen Dying in Accident

Mi
I saw this scenario on Judge Judy today. I'm really curious on what everyone's opinions are. The people involved are two teenagers, a 14 year old boy and girl and their mom's. The Mom's are friends, as are their children to each other. The boy's mom lives out in the middle of nowhere, so she always leaves her keys in her car at night (I do the same thing) and frankly all of the time. The boys mom and teens were hanging out at the boy's house and the boy asked if they could go out to the car and listen to music. The Mom said yes. They go out to the car and listen to music and the girl asks if she can drive around the property. The boy says yes because his mom let's him drive (unlicensed) around the property. The girl proceeds to drive up the street saying that her friend lives up there and the boy doesn't stop her. She however, been unlicensed, can't drive and flips the car, dying INSTANTLY on the scene. Now, in court, the mother was asking for the girls mom to pay for damages to the car and her sons medical bills. However, Judge Judy flips out and said that she gave them the tools to wreck. She said that she let two teenagers in a car with the keys in it. And that she lets him drive around the property. However, the boys mom said that in her defense, she never gave either of them permission to drive that specific time (her, ever). So, Judge Judy basically said that the women was completely asinine for trying to get the other mother (whose daughter died) to pay for her car and medical bills because she gave them the tools to do so. How do you feel?
POLL QUESTION:
Should the girl's mom have to pay for the boys mom's car and the boy's medical bills?
