conception issues??

I have been trying to convince for the last 3 years. I was on the pill patch and ring (one after the other) consistently from age 15yrs-22yrs. At 23 I thought the hormones would have left my system after doing some research (and seeing it takes about 1-3 months per year using). My best friend had an IUD for 2 years and got pregnant after a month off it and I'm here like WTF?? I have tried several apps and have been using this app for about a year now and the period predictions have been pretty accurate. I'd assume the ovulation dates are also pretty accurate as well, so I Sex my fiancé constantly that whole week but still no luck conceiving. I lay upside down and everything. What else can I try? What has helped you if you have had a similar experience to mine?
