Bleeding

Last night after I got off of my fiancé after having intetcourse, there was blood on the bed. Almost like it had spewed out, because there were two bigger spots and a bunch of little spots everywhere. We tried a new position, so I don't know if it's from that or not. I'm also due for my period, but recently got on the depo shot, so I thought maybe it was my period, but not bleeding today. So thinking the depo has my period messed up and I just had some vaginal bleeding. The position was me on top, sitting on him with my knees bent in a squatting position. Anyone else every experience this?
