When my son was five days old he was rushed in to emergency surgery for a twisted intestine and malrotation of the gut. After two grueling weeks in the PICU he came home and we got to live our lives. Fast forwards to 10 weeks and my son presented with the same symptoms. He was not eating, sleeping constantly and then started vomiting bile nonstop. He had over 100 adhesions in his stomach from the previous surgery and the second surgery took 2 hours. He is now back on the road to recovery but something feels different. He's older and more alert of what is going on. He has a ton of phlegm in his throat from the tubes and sounds terrible. The procedure was longer and more complicated. I just want my baby to be come again and in my arms. Please pray for my little warrior.
