ok so i'm in middle school graduating tomorrow, and i recently made a boyfriend how i like very much and he actually likes me for who i am and isn't like other boys who expect so much. In our town people call "making out" hooking up. My boyfriends friends all tease him about hooking up with me, and how he's not a real boyfriend because he hasn't done anything with me yet. I have no idea what to do. everyone tells me i should hookup with him but i don't know what to think. sometimes i want to but other times i don't, i also don't want him to feel pressured into having to "hookup" with me because all his friends do it. please help

Ignore everyone else and realize that at the end of day, the person who has to deal with the consequences of your actions is you and no one else. Only do things that you are sure of.

You're not having sex, as you said you're just making out, in my opinion it's totally okay. As long as you both are consenting and happy and comfortable go for it!  You're entering high-school where there is going to be much pressure to do things, don't push yourself into any place you don't want to be, let this be I first step to all of that.  I first started making out when I was 14 and the boy who I did it with is still my boyfriend to this day!

Only do it if you want to and you know he for sure wants to. If they tease him, oh well. People tease others for a lot of things and it's just something to get over. This won't be the only thing you all will be pressured to do. Learn to stand up to it now so that it's easier in the future for more serious events. Making out isn't inherently bad, but if the two of you aren't ready, it will just add to the awkwardness of your first experience.
