There was recently a story about a baby who died from starvation because the parents only gave the baby vegetable milk since they were vegan and would not give him cows milk. We all know they were very wrong. But it made me wonder, maybe they wouldn't give him breast milk because it is milk from a mammal? Do vegans consider breastmilk to be ok if they are raising a vegan child? Or is it off limits according to definition because it is not plant based?
