Tenative go?

Talked to my husband last night and told him that i want to birth this baby at home with just us, our 1year old, and a friend or family member to help take care of the 1 year old. And he said no. I'm worried it will be too messy. Lol, ok. So today I research and send him a bunch of articles about how to manage the mess of birth and how its not really as bad as he thinks. And tonight he said ok!

I'm only 5.4 weeks so we got a while lol. I may decide to hire a midwife depending on how I feel in later pregnancy and I'm definitely going to be doing a lot of reading of midwifery texts so i know real emergencies, but I'm super excited!
