How do I explain to my therapist that my interest in sex, kink, and basically the culture of it all, does not negate my demisexuality (regardless of whether or not I'm in a relationship)? She thinks I'm too enthusiastic about it to REALLY be ace. I tried explaining that for me I come at it from a different angle because of my demisexuality, but i don't think she really got it.
