Painful Breasts

So I have been having the most painful breast pain for the past 2 weeks. The only time i ever experience breast pain is right before my AF. And that only last a day or two. Recently my breast have been hurting so bad that I was to be extra careful when I shower. I went to the doctor today and he said I have no abnormal lumps. But my mammory glands on both breasts are engored. He thinks it's a hormonal issue. I did recently ovulate. But I never had painful breasts during ovulation. Has anyone ever experienced this?
