So I Just Got Hired At A Fast Food Restaurant And I Start Tomorrow This Is My First Job Every The Only Thing I Am Soooo Scared About Is Starting My Period Witch I Am On Friday And I Get Really Bad Cramps When I'm Starting And It Usually Lasts For 4 hrs what should I Do And I'm Scheduled To Work Friday To 😬😭 What Should I Do? I Need Advice 😩

take whatever pain reliever works best for you before you start your shift. also, i used to get extremely bad cramps my first year getting my period and my aunt bought me these heating pad things that you put in your underwear. that sounds so weird but it gave me so much comfort.

Don't stress. I lifeguarded for 5 years. That was stressful at first especially on my heavy days. But people have to understand having a period  is a natural thing.  Just excuse yourself to go to the bathroom. When I lifeguarded or actually  any job I had, all of us women asked each other for tampons and pads. I was shy at first but all women go through  it and understand.

congrats on your first job! Wear a pad in case, bring back up pads/tampons, ibuprofen and even one of those stick on heating pads from a drug store. You can use the bathroom while working, just excuse yourself or go during your break.

What I did is brought a backpack instead of a purse. You can store everything you need in there for an oncoming period (even your cash and keys if you need too)

--Tampons (or pads) *pack enough to assume you will change it every 1.5 hours*

--Extra strength ibuprofen

-- mini heating pad that you put in your panties. **you can typically get them at Walgreens or Rite Aid**

-- Water and a healthy snack. Trust me, it will come in handy.  Avoid as much junk food as you can on the day your period starts. It typically will intensify cramping.

-- change of panties and black pants (just in case)
