rant about graduating university
So I graduate in a month today and we had our results day today. I got a 2:1 upper class degree and was 1% off a first class degree (the best you can get).
I am slightly disappointed but I am coming out with a good degree. I have 2 best friends at uni and we have a group chat. We're always there for one another and support each other with uni work and everything. So I woke up very early and decided to check if results were out and they were. I let them both know so they could check and told them what I got as I was excited at this point. I got no response for a while (to be expected as it was early in the morning). Then they both reveal they got a first so I said congratulations and I'm so proud of both of them. It's an amazing achievement and I am in no way jealous they both deserve it but all they said was thanks. They didn't say anything about what I got, they both congratulated each other. I might just be being oversensitive but besides my SO and parents I share my life with these people. It just really upset me that nothing was said.
No one has to respond to this I just wanted to get it out. I'm so proud for everyone doing so well on results day!
