cyst...

I've had such severe abdominal pains for the last 6-7 months constantly, not just during periods or ovulation. Last week I was told by a nurse after multiple ultrasounds that I "have a cyst on my right ovary" and I'll need to meet with my doctor (in two weeks) to talk about what kind it is. I'm just looking for some reassurance: women who have battled a cyst this painful for this long, what was your outcome? What kind of cyst did you have?
