College Freshman Advice?

Olivia
Hey girls! I need some advice as an 18 year old a little anxious for college. I'm a Biomedical major that will be involved in my college's pre-med program and honors college. I'll also be in the marching band and possibly some clubs along the way.
I'll be attending the University of South Alabama this fall.
I'd really love some general advice from some of those who are more experienced. Anything about studying, dorms, roommates, honors and regular courses, getting around campus, staying in shape, etc.!
Thank you!!

Hey! I'm a college sophomore and have a similar situation as you: pre med, honors, double major neuro/creative writing. I'll give you some bits of advice I think are important: 1. Make friends that have the same classes/ work ethic as you do. It is SO helpful when you can combine study/social time and will save you tons of time on hw if you have someone to ask for help. It also is a great way to study when someone asks you for help.2. Go to office hours and build relationships with professors. You might need letters of rec for a summer program or scholarship so don't procrastinate on getting to know your professors.3. Always go that extra mile. Even if you don't think you'll need that extra credit, if you have the time, do it because if something happens and you're facing a borderline grade during finals, you will thank yourself.4. See your advisors. Even if you already know what classes you need to take, they can give you insight to programs you might not have known of otherwise5. There's always someone better than You, so don't waste time feeling bad if your peers are doing better than you. You'll have your moment. There's lots more advice I can give you but these are some of the most important!
