Advice for International students?

I just graduated high school and though I haven't applied for any colleges as yet (honestly I was going to apply for the spring term and just take a break this term), I want to know if there's any advice for prospective international students that anyone can give to help me with. Just for reference (if it's needed), I want to major in English and minor in Computer Sciences. Advice pertaining to anything and everything would be greatly appreciated because I'm a bit scared of this whole university thing 😅😅
