Is this considered rape?

So in North Carolina, there has been some type of law passed that basically says if a woman consents to sex, but changes her mind and doesn't want it anymore AFTER penetration begins, the man can finish, despite the woman wanting to or not, and cannot be charged for rape. Do you guys think this is bogus or what?

This law is absolutely disgusting. It makes a man's orgasm more important than a woman's right to her own body. It's a step backwards in the fight for equality between men and women. I've withdrawn consent part way through sex before because I was hurting and once because I started bleeding pretty heavily. I've also had a panic attack in the middle of sex. Each and every time my boyfriend has stopped immediately. If I say stop, or I'm not ok, or anything similar he stops.

I can imagine the damage it'll do to any woman that says stop and a man doesn't. I've been raped. I don't wish that on anyone. And now the government is saying that rape is ok. They're saying that a woman can't change her mind for any reason during sex. Shes lost rights to her own body because men need to orgasm. Which is total bs. A real man doesn't need to orgasm if his partner says stop- a real man stops and real men don't think going against their partner's wishes is ok especially when it comes to sex.

Of course it's rape. This stems from a court case decades ago that determined a woman couldn't revoke consent. A Democratic law maker in NC is trying to rectify that by introducing a bill to make this undeniably rape. However, the scope of this bill is far too narrow as it only stipulates vaginal penetration by a penis.
