I lost a baby at 20 weeks. I felt him kick one time and he was dead inside me for 2 weeks. To see a baby not moving on an ultrasound is the hardest:( I cried a lot and the only thing that helped was getting my body in perfect health and determined to have my baby. I had 2 more losses and finally had my rainbow baby!! I had a tubal before the stillborn. I'm sorry for your loss. You are a strong woman and I hope you all the best.

Yes. I lost mine also at 16 weeks. Right after it happened I locked myself up for 2 months and went on a wine and cigarette spree because i didn't know how to deal with the pain.  I finally forced myself back to work but spent my lunch hours and breaks crying in the bathroom, and my weekends laying in bed sobbing.I dove into work, but didn't sleep for nearly a year. I wished I would just die but didn't think of suicide for my husband's sake.
When I couldn't take anymore, I sought therapy. It turns out I have complex PTSD, and the reason I wasn't able to deal with the loss of my baby is because I had earlier trauma which was triggered by the terrible loss.
I am dealing better now- it's been a year in therapy. I don't spend all my free time crying. We are still trying to have another but it is hard because I've lost 3 more since then. I have started to make friends and am learning how to cope with my triggers.  
I know what you are going through. Our baby's life was suddenly taken, and you are going to be grieving for a while. I just didn't know how to live without my baby, the person who for four months was going to be such a big part of my life and was already was suddenly gone.
The hospital will have you speak to a therapist, and may I suggest that you find a right fit- don't give up. I started with one, and wasn't feeling better so I found another. When you find the right one you will know.

Hi Elizma, I'm so sorry for your loss and heart ache. I just lost my baby this week...I was supposed to be 18 weeks and went in for an ultrasound and there was no heart beat-later that night I started having contractions at home and the inevitable happened-my baby came out. I feel extremely traumatized over everything that has happened the past few days. I can't eat, can't sleep, I'm afraid to go to the bathroom because of my experience with passing the baby. I don't know if these feelings will pass but I feel I need help, or I'm going to need it.
