I'm really hurt...

My ex step mom that use to be my best friend just told me that she is "trying" to want to see me. I get she has to move on and away from my dad, but she use to be more of a mom to me than my actual mom. She was even after her and my dad split. She always says I am her daughter. I didn't realize that he has to TRY to WANT to see me. Can I please get some advice and thoughts on this please? I don't know what to do or say. I didn't realize I was someone that someone had to try to want be around and have in their life... I'm really heart broken... 💔
